A comprehensive Beach Water Quality Monitoring Programme has been implemented by the Environmental Protection Department to protect public health. The monitoring data are published on EPD's Beach Water Quality website to inform the public of the bacteriological water quality status. The site offers the latest beach water quality grading based on the latest monitoring data, as well as the daily water quality forecast information in map views for all beaches that are open for swimming.
